Cooper Benefits is the first business of its kind – providing both benefits and wellness advice, plus implementation. We design your health benefits package and tailor a wellness program for your group, based on their specific health risk profile, and then implement the program with you. We see the group employee benefits market as an opportunity to engage the corporate employee base. One of the challenges historically has been the lack of clear return on investment figures for corporate wellness programs in the mid-size market. Cooper Benefits removes this barrier for the mid-market employer by funding all or part of the wellness program through the existing commission/consulting revenue stream.

Member and Client Synergy
As our employee benefits specialists work with your group to source and structure its insurance arrangements, we have a unique opportunity to design relevant wellness programs. When conducting enrollment and member education meetings for the health insurance plan, our wellness advisors have a captive audience with which to discuss wellness. As a result, employees begin to link health insurance together with the wellness program and points-earning platform offered to them.

Information
The most powerful synergistic quality of Cooper Benefits is the collective access to relevant information. A full analysis of health care claims is necessary in order to tailor the program to the group's risk profile. Most wellness programs and their administrators do not have access to this information. As a result, the programs are often generic in nature and lack the specificity necessary to truly affect the health of the employees and control health care costs. Cooper Benefits uses the synergy in our model to design tailored wellness programs that change over time as the group's risk profile changes. The result is a truly dynamic and tailored program.
